Let's admit it, there are a lot of DJ services. Actually, too many. Some are new, some are established. Many just getting started via social media. Different price ranges, different experience levels, different abilities. A different value for the customer. Some plan and organize details so you don't get overwhelmed. Some manage your celebration relieving you from the stress. But not all make the whole process memorable. With that being said, it's not just all about the music keeping the dance floor full all night. We both want the same thing - - fun. Compare DJ services based on the value which you receive, not on the perceptions you might have of a DJ. A low priced, social media DJ may save a few dollars but can cost you the success of your night. Hiring your entertainment is an important decision. Consider spending about 15-20% on your entertainment. Of course, it depends on your overall wedding day budget, typically that is a good starting range. Remember, because someone says "our DJ was the best". Doesn't mean it's the best for you. It all depends on your expectations and comfort level.
